Who We Are & What We Do


We’re SermonView - an evangelism marketing ministry serving churches throughout the United States and around the world. Here at SermonView, we’re focused on revitalizing evangelism by using a holistic approach to ensure better results every time. We believe that God has called us to use state-of-the-art marketing practices to get more people through more church doors on opening night, and we’re driven to meet His calling.

SermonView has grown to handle hundreds of evangelism marketing campaigns every year. Since 2008, we have worked with 2,500 churches on 6,000 campaigns, reaching over 30 million homes and 8 million social media users. This experience has allowed us to see what works—and what doesn’t—so we can create a more effective marketing campaign to reach your community for Jesus. As we work with you, our prayer is that God will use our joint efforts to bring a great harvest for His Kingdom.

Our Founder

Larry Witzel

Larry Witzel

Founder and President


Larry Witzel is a respected innovator and inspiring speaker at the intersection of technology and ministry. As founder and president of SermonView Evangelism Marketing, he leads a team providing event marketing, church websites, Bible study lead generation, and interest tracking services to churches throughout the North American Division.


Larry has spent nearly 30 years in marketing and public relations. His resume includes stints at organizations as varied as Intel, Wellsource, La Sierra University, North Pacific Union Communication Dept., and a variety of technology startups. In 2001 he joined It Is Written as director of its Digital Media Group, leading a team of 15 young creatives in creating cutting-edge resources for evangelism, before founding SermonView in 2005.


Larry has a BA in theology and mass media from Walla Walla University, earned his MBA from the University of Washington's Foster School of Business, and is currently studying in the PhD in Strategic Media program at Liberty University. He is a tech team leader and musician at his local church, is chair of the board for Columbia Adventist Academy, and serves on the North Pacific Union Executive Committee. He lives with his wife and two children in Vancouver, Wash.
